Academic and Professional Highlights
I graduated from the University of Louisville in 2025 with a Bachelor of Arts in English, concentrating in Public and Professional Writing. Throughout my college career, I was named to the Dean’s List every semester, maintaining a strong academic record while also pursuing hands-on editorial and creative work.
As part of the Honors Program, I completed a creative thesis under the mentorship of published author Paul Griner. My thesis passed without revisions and allowed me to deepen my skills in long-form storytelling and revision. During my time at UofL, I also had an opinion piece published in the Courier Journal, which I was invited to read aloud at a Metro Hall event attended by Louisville Mayor Craig Greenberg and UofL President Kim Schatzel.
In addition to my coursework, I served as an editor and staff member for Miracle Monocle, the university’s literary journal. There, I worked closely with both emerging and established writers, gaining experience in submission review, editorial decision-making, digital publishing, and audience outreach. These experiences helped me build a strong foundation in both academic and professional writing.
